Dangers of Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitizers
Although the Food and Drug Administration approves both alcohol and non-alcohol based hand sanitizers as fast-acting no-rinse products for use without water, only a Benzalkonium chloride hand sanitizer like Fresh Protect carries the advantage of being a non-flammable formula that is less drying to the skin, will not stain clothing and it is not a toxic poison. It does not cause drunkenness like the alcohol based sanitizers can. Since our Benzalkonium chloride hand sanitizer contains no alcohol, children can use it with adult supervision.
School requirements for K-12 students. Many schools require their students to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer at school. Not just any sanitizer...specifically an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. It seems odd that these very schools have a very strict 'no tolerance policy' for simple, no-harm, but important to the student, medicines such as aspirin or OTC pain relievers. But, they require and/or request that their very own students bring alcohol-based sanitizers to school. Think about that for a minute. They want their students to bring a potential 'bomb' to school. Yes, a napalm-like, potential fire-starting bomb. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers burn very well. They want their students to bring a bottle of booze to school. That's right...booze. They can 'huff' it or drink it and get very drunk. But they can't have a single aspirin in school. In fact over 10,000 children in the USA are treated annually for toxic poisoning caused by ingesting alcohol-based sanitizers. | Health Care Workers

Alcohol-Based Sanitizers Are Ineffective!
That's right. Alcohol-based sanitizers are basically ineffective when applied incorrectly. They do little more than move the germs around. And the very moment they dry... they stop working.
Health Care Workers, their patients and the rest of the general population have believed that alcohol-based sanitizers actually work. If not applied the way the CDC recommends, they do little more than move the germs around.
It makes you wonder how many thousands of people that have relied on an alcohol-based sanitizer have become sick and/or died. Your good health and maybe your very life is at risk because of using an alcohol-based sanitizers incorrectly.
The CDC recommends that 2ml of alcohol-based hand sanitizer be placed in the hands and rubbed together for 30 seconds and then another 2ml of alcohol-based hand sanitizer be placed in the hands and rubbed together for another 30 seconds. It is imperative that the alcohol-based hand sanitizer never become dry until after the 60 seconds of rubbing.
Compare that to Fresh Protect Hand Sanitizer, 1 ml and 15 seconds. Fresh Protect works fast and lasts a long time.
